The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has announced the AI Gamechangers program. The body will recognize impactful and scalable AI-driven technologies taking place in India as part of the initiative. The program’s “Innovation Partner” is Microsoft.
The two entities will cooperate to develop and promote AI software under the terms of the agreement. At the Nasscom Xperience AI summit, the program will recognize innovators for their successful AI implementation. NASSCOM hopes that the software will assist in the growth of startups, corporations, universities, governments, and non-governmental organizations that use Artificial Intelligence as a technology.
Details of the Program
There will be three considerations to assess the selection criteria. First, the issue that an organization has agreed to address with AI. The second element is the innovation undertaken in the implementation’s. The deployment’s effect is the third aspect to consider.
The deadline for nominations for the program is April 16. On April 30, the screening will come to an end. Shortlisted participants will demonstrate their program in mid-May. The program’s winners will be announced on July 21-22.
As per the FAQs of the program, participants must demonstrate the deployment in a live model rather than a pilot or prototype stage. At least ten people must be the employee for the deploying company. The solution provider also must be a registered legal entity in India. The organizers claim that the use-case will be judged based on its impact over the last two years. This time frame is regardless of longer operational duration.

Debjani Ghosh, President of NASSCOM stated that “The past decades have seen a dramatic growth of innovation and talent in India. While the country continues to leap forward to become the global innovation hub, we expect AI to add $500 Bn to India’s GDP by 2025. Through this program, we aim to spotlight some of the leading AI-based innovations in the country, not only to recognize their efforts but to motivate the larger ecosystem to leverage this opportunity to help India become a global powerhouse in AI-led innovation.”
